Objective
This assignment was to create a restaurant menu for any type of restaurant we chose that included numerous categories, food pricing, and descriptions. We needed to create a color story and design that conveyed the essence of the restaurant and food served.
Outside Cover
I used red as a highlight color on the front and back the menu to create a more dramatic contrast. The dashed line along the right side of the fish is where it would be cut, exposing the blue wave design on the inside.
Inside Spread
The dashed line along the left side is where it would be cut. I didn’t use any red on the inside of the menu to create a calming neutral feeling.
