Objective
The assignment was to design and implement a website for a fictitious travel company called “Find Your NC Way”. I was given the names of each North Carolina region, landmarks, and brochures about the landmarks to take information from to use.
Home & Secondary Web Pages
The images below show the home and secondary, color-coded region pages. The homepage has a NC Travel video that is embedded from You Tube. All of these pages provide users 2 different ways to get to the regions and locations – the menu & location links or the color-coded image map.
Tertiary & Contact Pages
I created all tertiary pages from this Southport page template design. They all include space for images and a google image map. If you click on “order now” in the footer the Free Travel Guide page loads and you can order one through the form on the page.
Variable Logo
I designed this variable logo in Adobe Illustrator using a different color theme for each of the NC regions that I divided the website into. I wanted to use color to reinforce the specific region a user would be looking at.
